‘Adult items,’ money stolen from Cortland County adult boutique …

CORTLANDVILLE, N.Y. — The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a person they said broke into and stole from an adult-themed store over the weekend.

Someone broke into Tikki’s Adult Boutique between midnight and 2:30 a.m. Friday, leaving a front store window shattered after the suspect broke it open, deputies said.

The store is in the Groton Avenue Shopping Plaza at 1136 State Route 222 / Groton Ave., and sells things like lingerie, corsets, stockings and roleplay costumes, according to its website.

The person, who was caught on surveillance, entered the store and stole several adult items and an undisclosed amount of money, according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies said the person was last seen wearing glasses, a knit-style hat and carrying a backpack, according to the sheriff’s office.

The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office asks anyone with information about the incident to call (607) 758-6151.
